While I have never had any security issues with Apple beta’s note that the beta comes with in guarantees of any kind. It is a beta release so is expected to have bugs - that’s the point of beta testing - to discover bugs and issues so Apple engineers can fix them.

So you should never use the beta for things you absolutely need or cannot afford to lose. Running the beta does NOT void or alter your hardware warranty, but if anything comes up software wise (like data lose or data corruption), that is entirely on you to deal with or live with. Never store anything on your beta device that isn’t either backed up separately somewhere else, or that you cannot live with if you had to restore your device and set it up again.

Don’t rely on that iPhone running the beta as your only telephone either, in case there is an issue which renders it unusable for a time.
