up until yesterday evening my aol email was linked to my phone and had no problem. Now when I go to check my email it comes up with error and asks to insert my password which is already there. I’ve changed nothing and now it doesn’t update.

Go to Settings/Mail/Accounts, tap on the AOL account and delete it. Then restart your phone and add it back.

You’re welcome! I’ve seen several posts about this problem in the past couple of days; it’s probably a glitch on AOL’s servers that causes it.
