Iphone 11 won't connect to wifi.

My Iphone 11 has stopped connecting to wifi. I have:

Reset the router.

Tried other networks.

Reset network setting.

Forget this network.


When I reset network setting the phone sees the network and connects for 1 second (see photo) then drops out. It continues to shows that it is connected (blue tick), but there is no wifi signal showing on the top right of the phone.


Please help

Check your WiFi Router / Modem for --> Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points ...


Connecting to Wifi is the first part and then getting connected to the Internet is the second

  1. If you connect to a Wifi, doesn't necessarily mean you are connected to the internet. If you are not connected to wifi could be a problem of iPhone settings or Router/Modem Settings
  2. If you are not connected to the internet is the sole issue of Router / Modem Settings. Contact your ISP immediately


For your Internet connection.

  • Over Cellular: contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider). The agency who issued the SIM to you
  • Over WiFI: Contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider), the agency who provided the Internet Service on your Modem/Router to you


However --> Connect iPhone to the Internet - Apple Support

Consider more secure wifi configuration.

Change your router’s WiFi to use WPA2-AES (CCMP) with no WPA or TKIP. Updating this setting ensures that your devices always connect in one encryption mode


  1. TKIP is obsolete and not considered secure. Choose WPA2, the latest encryption standard, with AES encryption for optimal security
  2. If your router doesn’t specify TKIP or AES, the WPA2 option probably uses AES
