Where are FCPX built-in LUTS stored?

I love the Slog3/S-gamut3.cine LUT that is built-in to FCPX, however I need to be able to recover the highlights.

For 99% of the work I do, editing in a HDR library wouldn't make sense. So I'd really just like to be able to apply the LUT separately using Custom LUT — or even having it to use in Resolve/etc. as it is so much better than another Slog3 LUTs I've seen.

My question is ultimately pretty straightforward: Where can I find Apple's actual LUT file for this? I know it's quite hidden, but somebody has got to know where to look!

Thank you!

Like Tom, I've looked all over for the built in LUTs and cannot find them. They're probably bundled in one of the frameworks bundles.

However, if you download and install DaVinci Resolve, you should get these:

One of these four probably matches the one you're looking for.

I understand that FCP supports .cube files.

Once installed, you can find these in:

System Drive/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/LUT

[PS - I have Resolve 11.3... the lastest is 16.x —  YMMV]
