Hi I want to purchase an IPad Pro (2020) 11 inch and I was wondering if the Apple 1st generation pen is compatible with this ?

That iPad requires the 2nd generation Apple Pencil.

Also it was the iPad Pro 2020 2nd generation ? I thought the 1st generation pen still worked with this
