Remove the passcode on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus

1. Make sure that your iPhone isn't connected to your computer.
2. Press and hold the Side button until the power off slider appears. Drag the slider to turn off your iPhone. Then connect your iPhone to your computer while holding the Volume down button. Keep holding the Volume down button until you see the recovery mode screen.

the above instruction works, now i am stack in activation lock. I change my password for my apple id icloud and i cant remember the one i use to set my iphone, and it wouldnt let me sign in with the new one

it did not work

my phone is iphone 7

but still it keeps saying phone disabled
