I downloaded Turbo Tax download for Mac but it will not open. I get an error message that says "You have macOS 10.13.6 the application requires macOS 10.14 or later. How can I get macOS 10.14 or later installed on my iMac?

The first thing is to check compatibility with your desired macOS version (10.14, in your case).
For Mojave (10.14), your iMac (not iMac Pro) must be late 2012 or newer.
