I just got a new MacBook Pro and it doesn't recognize my Century Gothic font, which I use in a huge number of projects. All the places I have that font which works on my 2015 MacBook Pro now show it as a document with zero bytes. I have that font packaged on hundreds of InDesign files and it shows it as a document in every single one. I have wasted way too much time trying to find a solution. Can you tell me what the issue is?

We're glad you thought to ask Apple Support Communities about the font not working on your new Mac. Since this font is available in macOS Big Sur, let's see if it has possibly been disabled. Those steps can be found under "Disable fonts" here: Remove, disable, or enable fonts in Font Book on Mac
If you need to download the system font again, those steps are found here: Install and validate fonts in Font Book on Mac
You can also choose to restore the fonts that came with your Mac. This option does remove fonts you've installed, so they'll need to be installed again: Restore fonts that came with your Mac using Font Book
