I have plugged my guitar in through a griffin interface. The interface works fine on my iPhone but I can’t hear my instrument when I plug it into my Mac. The signal is going in - the tuner works and I can record - but I can’t hear myself. I’ve clicked the Monitoring icon on and off multiple times but no change. Any suggestions?
What is the output set at?
I had to reboot and when I logged back in I discovered a checkbox for allowing hearing the instrument on playback. I checked the box and now it works fine. Thank you nevertheless Keith.
What are you trying to listen through? Mac Speakers? Headphones?
Headphones. Headphones and guitar are plugged into the Griffin, which is connected to Mac via 1/8” jack. This configuration works perfectly on my Ipad.
