iPhone 7 doing Ghost touching

my iPhone 7 is doing ghost touching again and again and it is so annoying that I want to throw it on the mirror and this is happening since 4-5 months amd now I have iOS 14.4

iphone xr ghost touch Recently after updating to IOS 16.4 my iphone xr has been having frequent ghost touches. These make the phone almost unusable and seem to get worse the longer i leave my phone on. This first happened for 3 days then it went back to normal however is now doing it again. Apple support ran a check on my phone and said the software is running all good however I doubt it is to do with the hardware as no damage has been done to the phone, and I have seen posts about others who have had this issue after updating their phones software.

it's a hardware issue with the screen you should have it looked at
