I keep putting in my password on my Apple tv device and it keeps telling me it could not sign in yet I keep getting confirmation codes on my phone but my TV device won't work or promt for the code

if you have an older model ATV, the code is entered onto the end of the password as one entry. Example: “password123456” then click submit
