usb keyboard - shift key on left acts as a Q as well as a shift

every-time i hold down the left hand shift key it activates the Q key at the same time and vice versa attached is a screenshot of the keyboard viewer. i really need this to stop.

Delete Function After I upgraded to BigSur 11.0.1 my delete key only works from the left of the character letter and not the right. The Arrow keys are not functional either. At the moment I am now using a remote bluetooth keyboard but its not ideal. Any help would be appreciated.

When a key in the same row, or a key in the same almost-diagonal column starts acting up in this way, it is a defect or debris in the keyboard.

You will need a new keyboard very soon.
