Unable to download pages or Microsoft word

i have macbook air mid 2011 and want to download pages or Microsoft word but I'm unable to do so because it is 10.13 os

Correct. Pages requires macOS 10.15, Microsoft Word requires macOS 10.14. You need a newer Mac for either of them. macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra is the latest you can run.

microsoft word My mac wont let me download Microsoft Word, it keeps saying this "(null) can’t be installed on “Macintosh HD” because OS X version 10.15 or later is required." Can someone please help me?

The Free LibreOffice, handles MS Office files like Word & Excel…
