Notes disappeared from iCloud following 14.4 software update on iPhone

Shocked to see my Notes (over 500 notes in over 7 yrs or so) disappear following the update of the software to 14.4 on iPhone 11 Pro! Never happened before in so many years. They were synced to iCloud and syncing between two devices. After upgrade on one iPhone they vanished from both phones as well as from the iCloud - shows 'zero' although even on the data on the phone it shows that my Notes have data (obvs there were few hundred notes there) !?? Would kindly ask for support to retrieve them. Been over 24 hours now the Notes app shows as if it is 'working' as if downloading from iCloud but when I sign on iCloud they are not there either, plus a pop out came to tell me 'There seems to be an issue' - 'Report to Apple' - which I did, but no resolution. Can anyone help, and 'push' from the servers to my iCloud so at least I get them when I sign onto iCloud from a laptop?? Thank you!!

To verify, if you go to iCloud.com from your computer browser, do you see your missing notes there?

Also, if you haven’t already, you should go through the steps from the following links to try and recover your notes:

The Notes have disappeared from both devices PLUS from iCloud! Shocking that Apple can’t trace these from server and ‘put them back on’

they have not been deleted
they have been accumulating over 7+ yrs
they were for some reason ‘victim’ of software upgrade to 14.4 :((

credit to the one engineer trying to help me but even Apple engineers are shocked this happened and have not seen it before

i would ask more engineer experts at Apple ‘dig out’ on this issue and recover what ‘disappeared’ .

Current advice is to try wrase phone, restore fm backup or smth like that that but it’s worrying Apple engineers ‘do not see’ where’s the stored data more clearly

matter of processes I guess...
