iphone 7+ numerous problems

Hi, over 2 or 3 months I have following problems with phone, which are now getting more frequent and worse:

It started with Camera App - I open it up, press to take photo and it turns itself off and sometime turns phone off too. Won't work until I turn phone off completely and restart.

Keyboard - can't type, then delayed typing; the backspace button goes from grey and black to black and white. Have to close app and re-open.

News app keeps crashing and turns phone off.

Use BT to listen to radio app through speaker - now started to turn off BT

IOS 14.4 Have taken screen saver off. Safari history deleted.

Any ideas please - it's driving me mad.

Thanks

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 14

That sounds good! Once everything is finished (it might take some time) unplug your phone. I´d then recommend turning your phone off, waiting about 20 seconds and then turning it on again. I do hope this sorts out your problems! Ian.

Hi cris1200! Try a forced re-start of your phone, which is more effective than just turning it off and on again. Here's how, from MacWorld UK:

Force-restarting an iPhone 7 or 7 Plus

The iPhone 7 and its Plus-sized sibling were the first iPhones not to feature a physical home button. Instead it has a software-based haptic button that senses a press and buzzes to simulate a click rather than physically pressing down - because it's software, if the device has frozen it isn't able to recognise that you are pressing the home button. This meant Apple needed to invent a new way to force restart that didn't involve the Home button.

Apple's method to force-restart the iPhone 7 or 7 Plus is as follows:

Press and hold the power/lock key on the right side of the phone.

At the same time press and hold the volume down key on the left.

Wait for the Apple logo to appear (you may see the Slide to Power Off slider, but keep holding the side buttons while the iPhone skips this step). The phone will then go through its startup sequence.

Enter your passcode at startup.

Hope this helps you! Regards, Ian.
