Minecraft Not working since software update

I just updated my macOS on my MacBook to Big Sur only to find that I can no longer open my Minecraft launcher. Anyone know why?

I tried redownloading it but whenever I try moving it to applications, it says that it is being used and can't be added to applications but when I go to force quit to see if it's open, it doesn't show up which means it should be closed.

Also, If I call apple support will they help me with this? or not because Minecraft is microsoft.
