I can't see the actual pictures when I open Finder. I just see the generic Preview icon instead (please see the attached picture.)
This is only an issue with my new SSD USB drive. I could see all the pictures just fine with the preset iMac.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Please restart in Safe Modeand then restart normally and test.
