McAfee anti-virus softwear problem

I downloaded McAfee anti-virus softwear by recommendation from my internet provider. After I installed I learned it is not compatible with macOS Big Sur softwear. I deleated application, but now message from McAfee keep poping up on my screen and it says "Allow us continue your setup". How can I get rid of? I also see McAfee logo on my menue bar on top of screen.

Did you follow the developers instruction to uninstall?

  1. To make sure that the McAfee browser plug-in is removed correctly, close your browsers (Safari and Chrome) during removal.
  2. In the Dock, find and open the Applications folder.
  3. Double-click the McAfee Internet Security Uninstaller.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Type your administrator password and click OK.
  6. Click Finish.
