Can I use the new 27” iMac as a secondary screen for my MacBook Pro laptop?

I have a MacBook Pro 2018 model I use for work. I am looking to buy an iMac for personal use but will want to use the iMac as a second screen to my MacBook Pro when working. Is this possible? There is no HDMI port. Thanks

If the new iMac is a 2020 model and running macOS 11 Big Sur, it is not possible, sorry.
