apple Iphone 12

When I use Siri on my iPhone 12, it no longer does the audible, double beep, as with my older iPhone.

Is it possible to turn that feature on with an iPhone 12?

Siri will acknowledge with a "Double Beep" only if it is connected to headphones or CarPlay or to a bluetooth speaker device. I know that this was possible on older devices however it has not been for at least 3 years that I remember.
