I bought an iPhone 12 in South Africa, can I use it in Japan?

I bought iPhone 13 in South Africa last month.

I would like to know whether we can use it in Japan or not.

I am Japanese and I will go back to Japan next month.

I want to know if I can use it in Japan by using Japanese mobile carrier network.

Please kindly advise.

Double Check your iPhone because there is no iPhone 13 available in the market today.

You have to tell us the exact Model Name and Model Number. This information can be found in Settings ➔ General ➔ About.

It appears that there are common bands available in Japan that your iPhone will support. You will have to get there and ensure that your carrier has those bands. I recommend that you call ahead and give them the model number and have them confirm if it will work. This way there are no doubts. Also, make sure that your iPhone is carrier unlocked otherwise it will not work on other carriers.
