Apple Home Pod Mini operate in Portugal?
I have read this question before on this forum posed by @jorgefromcarparica
You can buy the Apple Home Pod Mini from FNAC.pt however Portuguese speakers beware as you can not buy this system from Apple store.pt simply because Siri does not understand real Portuguese only Brasiliero. When my Portuguese GF set up her new MacBook Air we found this out. I am assuming it works if you are prepared to speak English, or does it?
So leads to my question. As Apple Music & Apple ID & Apple iCloud are "territory" specific will this affect operating the HomePod mini if you have all your devices set up in English but resident in Portugal territory?
For a global company advocating freedom of borders & identity, its quite annoying that on a technical and registration basis this is not the case. Don't get me started how shocking it is that real Portuguese is not an available Siri language. As an English speaker I can choose from multiple accents and yet Portuguese is real Portuguese, and not an "accent" of Brazilian.
Get it sorted Apple as it could be insulting to native Portuguese speakers. #realportuguesematters
