Apple ID Verification is barring me from updating apps

Hi, so whenever I try to enter my Apple ID password in order to update apps, like Venmo and Bank of America, I get a message that says "Verification failed," even though my password is correct. I've tried resetting my password to ensure that I'm entering the correct one, and still the verification fails.

How do I fix this?

Thank you,

James

See the Apple Support article(s) below.

Apps won’t downloaded.

App Store, iTunes Store, or other Apple services - If you can't connect

Some things you can try. Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.

Try a restart.

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Try a forced restart.

Reset Device.
