Trying to use Parallels on Big Sur OS iMac to run Desktop Quickbooks 2015

I recently posted a question seeking advice on this topic and the people who responded recommended I download Parallels to run Desktop Quickbooks 2015 on my late 2014 iMac with the Big Sur OS.

Can someone now walk me through the steps for doing this, as it doesn't appear to be nearly as easy as the recent Apple Community Support Group advice made it out to be.

I have reached out to the Parallels support staff on this, but they don't appear to understand English very well.

Very frustrated over here.

Peter, I'm a long time Parallels user. What issues are you running into? I currently have 4 virtual machines in Parallels (windows 10, Ubuntu Linux, MacOS Catalina and MacOS Mojave)

The steps are create a virtual machine with an operating system that will run Quickbooks 2015. Then launch the virtual machine and install Quickbooks in that virtual machine.

Be as specific as you can.

I hope this helps.

BigPeat, sorry for the delay.

Creating a virtual machine in Parallels.

  1. From the file menu select New... A window will appear. There is an open button. Click on that and select the installer application you downloaded.
  2. Link to Mojave on the App Store. This just took me to the Mojave page and then when I clicked on get it took me to the System Preference/software update and said there were no updates. Let me know if you are having the same issue.

I hope this helps.
