Java on Mac M1 Chip

When is Java going to be available for the Mac M1 Chip ?

Several websites not really working with this computer because no Java script.

I've seen Java work-arounds (Azul)...but I want the version from Oracle.

Still having several problems with my Mac Mini M1. Thunderbolt-DisplayPort seems to not work after rebooting, Mouse and Keyboard issues (mouse lagging and keyboard sometimes types in several characters when pressing 1 key...try logging in when you have this problem...you can't ! All you can do is press the power-button and reboot)

Come on Apple...alittle more testing before you release stuff. I'm trying to be supportive...I'm trying to be patient...but stuff like this is what we used to laugh about with the PC people...

Mac mini 2018 or later

What websites exactly? Almost nobody uses Java. Almost everybody uses Javascript, and Safari has it already, unless you have turned in off in safari > preferences > security.

I am still curious what websites are requiring that and what message you get from them about it. Java and Javascript are two totally different things.

For Java, see this

and let us know if that helps at all.

For an Oracle version I suppose you need to ask them.

Thank you for all the answers unfortunately this is related to working from home so I need to have Java installed. I'm currently using my Mac Pro login from home.

Are you encountering any of the other problems with Keyboard, Mouse and Thunderbolt-DisplayPort issues that I'm having ?

Let me know if you also experience these issues. Over-all I find the Mac Mini fast, quiet and cool to run (in comparison to my Mac Pro [trashcan]). The Keyboard, mouse and display issues are a bit irritating though (especially when the computer has been locked for several hours...for some reason the keyboard just bounces every character and I can't even login anymore)
