Voicemails from a different number showed up

Almost two months ago I changed my fiancé’s phone number and Apple ID and factory reset the whole phone. Now a couple days ago her voicemails from her old phone number showed up in her voicemail list.

how did this happen? There shouldn’t be any association with her old number right?

Could she have logged in or logged out of something for them to show up?

You haven't mentioned what did you do with the Old Phone number. Contact your carrier

SMS, MMS, WiFi Call, Call Forwarding, Call Waiting, Call Merge, Conference Call, Hotspot, Voice Mail (Visual or Normal) all are Carrier Specific features. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider), the agency that issued the SIM / eSIM to you.
