Hi! I'm not techie, I just want to know if java can work properly on Macbook air m1 macOS Big Sur? TIA

Not until Oracle makes a version that runs on the Apple Silicon (M1) architecture. Check with Oracle. The OpenJDK team has an openjdk 16 Preview which is for Apple Silicon.
