I have purchased two Mac Mini 2020 with M1 Chips - No sound from HDMI cable to monitor. the sound panel shows the monitor but when sleeted no sound come from the HDMI Cable to monitor. I have switched cables. This is the same for both new 49" Samsung Ultra wide and LG Ultra wide.
The C49HG9x does not have speakers, but it does have a headphone port. Listen with headphones.
Does either monitor come with speakers? Probably not. Please post details.
