What happens if I cancel my Apple TV subscription?
If I buy a tv show while having my appletv subscription and then I cancel my appletv subscription. What happens to the tv show I bought? Can I still watch it?

If you cancel an AppleTV+ subscription, you will no longer have access to Apple's original content. You can't buy anything through the AppleTV+ subscription.
Any content you've purchased through the iTunes Store is entirely separate from the AppleTV+ subscription. Where it gets confusing is that you access both through the AppleTV app (note the lack of "+" in the name).
