How to stop Pages from showing a video in doc when inserting link

I inserted a link in an apple pages document and suddenly a video showed up in its place, a screen shot of the video from YouTube. I don't want this feature. I just want a text link.

I can't submit this for school work. The only workaround I found was to paste it into a table first then copy it again and then re-insert paste it. But whenever I copy the link from the website, and paste it immediately, I get an annoyingly massive video screen grab. Nice feature but don't want!

I tried the preferences on apple pages, and tried the edit tab which you can see open but nothing seems to work...it is stubborn.
