I tried to make an appointment with the apple store but they referred me to Best Buy Geek Squad. Made the earliest appointment, 3 weeks later.
Was told: APPLE DOES NOT REPLACE BATTERIES ON ANY ITEM OVER 4 YEARS OLD!!!!!
So they offered me $40 trade in on my 6S Plus.

I went there and it clearly states unless there is a cracked screen or other damage they will replace battery.
But when I put in my serial number it comes up incorrect, and I checked it thrice.
l will call Apple care today.
