Want to recover my contacts

We understand that you're wanting to restore your contacts to your iPhone 8. Do you know if they're synced from an email account or stored in iCloud? Are your contacts the only data that you're trying to recover?

If your contacts are stored within another email account, once that account is added to your device, you can turn on contacts for it in Settings > Contacts > Accounts. Select the account and turn Contacts on for that account. If you don't see or have any accounts listed, you can choose 'Add account'.
