is anyone else frustrated with how unhelpfull apple is and how difficult thedy make doing any thing. I

My sons Ipad gen 7 will not charge, the battery remains empty with the thin red line. I have tried to reset it, I have tried a few different wires and adapters, they work with the phone and the ipad recognizes it because once you plug it in it flashes the empty battery and then goes to the apple logo. and that's all it will do. I plug it into my laptop and the laptop doesn't detect it. I have tried to get help from apple. I might as well plan a trip to the moon because I would get there easier than any help from apple.
