I don’t have a Apple Cash card, Do I need to order a physical Apple Cash card when using my Apple Pay or is this a built-in card that comes within the Walet when using my iPhone 12 to make a purchase at a store. I honestly prefer to use my own personal Visa debit card to make purchases!
There is no physical Apple Cash card.
You can use your own VISA card in Apple Pay. To add a card, see: Set up Apple Pay - Apple Support
You can turn the Apple Cash card off in Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Apple Cash.
You do need to use Apple Cash if you are using Messages to send cash to other people -- see: Send and receive money with Apple Pay - Apple Support and it is also used for cash rewards if you have Apple's credit card, the Apple Card.
