airpods not showing regular settings

I only see noise control and Siri when I try to set up left and right airpods. I don't see play/pause, next track, previous track. I have Iphone X on the latest iOS 14.4

AirPods Settings Menu Not Accessible When connecting my Airpods to my iphone, the settings menu does not appear for me to control them or make changes. I have try restarting my phone as well as forgetting and re-adding the AirPods and neither seem to work. Any assistance or tips on how to resolve would be greatly appreciated!
