Apple Watch App

My Apple Watch shows an update available and will not update.

I’ve been trying 36 hours. Gave up and decided to start over.

I deleted the Apple Watch app.

Now I visit the App Store and it only opens the watch app. But I have no watch app displayed on any of my phones screens.

I cannot find how to get the app to reset, so I can simply tap to open it, or how to force it to update my watch.

both devices are now fully charged. And both have been on chargers, WiFi, and Bluetooth.

The watch app just keeps the update on “verify” and never updates.

And now I don’t have access to the app without typing into search to find it

To replace the watch app icon to my iPhone I had to reset my Home Screen...

That was no fun. There’s got to be an easier way.

I finally got the watch updated as well.

Trying various methods, which included powering off the device three times, hard rebooting the device twice, and a complete fail using the iPhone, it updated via my home WiFi
