I understand that wires are always better than AirPlay, but I do use a HomePod for my iMac at home and while trying to listen to my tracks in the Garageaband app, the latency is rough. There has to be a software update that can fix the issue inside of Garageband. Everything else works just fine in other apps, no latency issues. Just wondering if Apple may be working on a fix for this?

AirPlay can have a latency of up to two seconds. It is a shame but HomePod really isn't suitable for use with any interactive task. Use Feedback - HomePod - Apple to let Apple know that you'd like to be able to use HomePod while composing with GarageBand.
