Can I update iMac iOS 10.9.5 to iOS 10.10.5 so I can upgrade ITunes?

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and depending on which iMac model you have, download El Capitan, High Sierra, Catalina, or Big Sur. You should only upgrade to Yosemite if you're going to stay there; it's available from the same page as El Capitan.
