2018 MacBook Pro Getting Really HOT

I brought my MacBook Pro in a few weeks ago because it was getting so hot to the point the heat goes through any lap desk that I am using and my legs get really hot. If I touch the bottom of my laptop, it burns. Also, the battery seems to not last at all!!!

I brought it in a few weeks ago, but it didn't do anything!

What is the problem? I have another appt for this Friday,but this doesn't seem normal. Do they give replacements?
