Bluetooth earbuds not playing audio

I have iphone 12 and apple watch series 5 connected to my phone. When i connect lenovo earbuds to my phone it doesn’t play audio but indicates as connected. And when i disconnect apple watch from phone and connect earbuds then it plays audio. So i cant connect both apple watch and earbuds in same time and use them. All the time i have to disconnect apple watch before i connect earbuds to listen to audio from earbuds. Is there any other way to solve this matter?

Hello all,

i had the same issue and what i did is that :

i turned off my iW (SE) Bluetooth and then i paired my LP40 with my iP (Xs) , and check if the sound was working. The check was ok, everything worked.

then i left my LP40 paired and i turned on Bluetooth on my iW and paired it again to my iP.

:)

and yes it’s all working well now.

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. Which exact version of iOS and watchOS are you updated to under Settings > General > About? If you need any iOS or watchOS updates, please install those and test again.


Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Update your Apple Watch


If that doesn't resolve the issue, try restarting the iPhone and the earbuds: Restart your iPhone


Also, check for firmware updates for your earbuds to make sure they are updated to the latest version.

To clarify, have you also checked for updates for your earbuds? If you aren't sure how, you can contact the manufacturer for assistance. Does this occur when using another set of earbuds? Are you suing a case with your iPhone? If so, remove it and test to see if the issue persists.


If it does, next let's rule out sources of wireless interference as outlined here: Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference
