New phone won't load apps

This was incredibly aggravating! Here is what worked for me: while on WiFi turn on airplane mode, then turn WiFi (only) back on. (Both in control center) Then hold down both top side keys to turn phone off. Then hold down right hand power key to restart phone. (Troublingly, it took me multiple tries before the Apple icon would do more than blink!) Then unlock. And after a minute Apps began to complete their uploads! This may mean it was trying to use the cell signal instead of the WiFi, for no proper reason.

I’m having the same issue and I’m on a strong network. It’s been over 12 hours and all non-apple Apps are stuck in loading. It’s horribly frustrating as I depend on quite a few of them for work. I hope there is a better resolution than “get on a strong WiFi”.

I just got the new iPhone 12 Pro max - same exact issue - all the non-apple apps stuck in "loading" status - have been on strong home wifi network - its been 12+ hours now - any resolution?

It took 15 days for all of my apps to finish loading. Apple took a step back on this one. I’ll think about that when it comes time to buy another phone in several years.
