Is this specific to the keyboard, or are other screen touches also mis-reading or mis-locatee?
That might be a failing digitizer and/or failing display, if it’s a general problem with part or all of the display.
Try a restart, but I’m not hopeful.
Rotate the iPhone to landscape and see if the same mis-reading keys persist regardless of physical position of the keys, or if the mis-reading problems stays in the same physical area of the display.
If this is failing hardware, your options are repair or replacement with a newer or new iPhone. And an iPhone 7 is kinda old to pay for a repair past a battery swap...
