iphone 12 pro max heating

I recently upgraded to a iphone 12 pro max(non 5g version) from 11 pro max and i can feel noticeable heating near the camera when using the mobile data. I felt it even through my magsafe case. My previously used 11 pro max was also heated like this but this is more than it.is it normal and safe for iPhones hardware?
