How to disable swipe left for camera when phone is locked

I was looking for a way to disable the camera from coming on when I didn’t intend it, like when setting down my phone, for example. I didn’t find anything BUT then I remembered the attention aware features- I had to turn it back on on my own phone, but on my husband’s phone it was already on and i could still open the camera without him looking at it- so i switched itboff and back on- and that worked! I still submitted feedback to Apple about adding the ability to disable that feature because I preferred not to have attention aware on. Maybe they can give us a choice under attention-aware to select what we enable it for.

I agree, but I would like to have a choice- it happens unintentionally all the time and that is super annoying

While you can use the camera when the screen is locked, all you can do is take pictures. You can’t access any other camera or camera roll functions. There are times when it might be useful to take a picture without unlocking the camera, especially under stress.
