High Sierra 10.13.6 is the highest version for a mid-2011 iMac. If you don't already have that, see: How to get old versions of macOS - Apple Support

Thank you! I do have this already and I am not able to download new versions of things like iTunes. Does this mean I am forced to buy a new computer if I want the latest versions of other apps and things? My computer is running just fine outside of this.
Thanks!
If you want to run apps that require a newer computer, yes, you would have to purchase a newer computer.
