front and back covers, additional album art, etc.

Isn't there anyway to add front and back covers, additional album art, etc, to itunes? I've always thought this was a major limitation of itunes in the past, but I thought I heard that it had changed recently.

You can embed multiple pieces of artwork into each track, however iTunes doesn't give you the facility to label them as Front Cover, Back Cover etc. If a track has multiple artwork it is only the first that is shown in the grid & cover flows, but the artwork box in the lower left should grow a pair of black triangles to allow you to look at the different images. Alternatively you could always create your own PDF "Digital Booklet" with artwork, lyrics & other info. and associate it with the album.

I just gave it try and I see the pdf in the "Books" section of the Library, but is it actually "associated" or linked to the album in anyway? In other words, if I'm playing the album is there anyway to know there is a Booklet associated with it, and can I view the booklet while listening to the album. I edited the pdf info as you suggested and gave it the name "Digital Booklet - Album Name".

Thanks again.

Ah, haven't added and in by hand since they added PDF support to the Books section. They used to be treated as Music by default, but you'll now have to change the *Media Kind* to Music as well as the steps I gave earlier. If you look at the tracks of an album it should gain another line after the last track with the little book symbol. Double click to open in your chosen PDF viewer.
