REQUEST: Allow disabling of automatic clipboard paste by ios apps

Some apps can choose to automatically paste the clipboard when you launch the app. I have discovered this after ios started showing the notifications of this in the UX. This is a serious security issue. I could have a password in my clipboard or other sensitive data that I don't just any app to automatically paste "somewhere."

We should be able to disable this on an app-by-app basis in the Provacy settings. Or, at least, disable the feature across all apps.

Personal note: I have an app (Catlink) to control an automatic cat litter box developed by a company in the eastern part of the world that I do not have any reason to fully trust. (To be fair, why should I trust any of the many other app developers?) There should be no reason a cat litter app would need to paste my clipboard, but they do. I want to prevent this.

Hello Dan-

I have never run into an iOS based app that automatically pasted the clipboard of an iPhone at launch. That is my experience however I understand that it may be different with yours. I still don't understand why would a Cat Litter management app paste the clipboard without informing you that it would do so and why.

I agree with you that I have no idea why that app would paste the clipboard. But it does!
