How to change back to original country/region

So I was looking up some Anime openings to see if they had them on Apple Music and most of the time they do. So I clicked on a link from a YouTube video saying the whole album I was looking for was on Apple Music. But when I clicked it it took me to Apple Music and it said “Item not available in the u.s”. And I said to myself oh well it’s okay. But when I clicked the link it somehow changed my region and made everything Japanese for my Apple I.D. I was trying to fix it but it told me to cancel my Apple Music subscription and I did but I still can’t fix it. Is there any other way I could fix it? 😢

Contact Apple Support:

Zero-Out your Balance:

You need to get your balance zeroed out. It might be a bit of a loss, but that is the way to go about this. So, contact Apple Support to get this to occur.

Location Restrictions:

Note that on the downside, once the location is changed, purchased items may not be playable. This all has to do with licensing between Apple and the Studio/Developer.

Why the Wait:

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, phone calls are taking a lot longer than usual. And that makes sense, because with the Coronavirus Pandemic, many have more time on their hands to contact Apple Support. So, just stay on the line. Ask the Apple Rep to zero-out the balance — they’ll see this and will run you through the fix.
