Screen of Desktop 1 dark even when max brightness

I have a Macbook air 2018 13 inch.

For some reason, one day, my screen in desktop 1 turned dark. I already tried bringing up the brightness but it doesn't go up the usual brightness. For context, The max brightness in desktop 1 is equivalent to half brightness on a normal laptop.

HOWEVER, it only applies to the first desktop, when I slide to the right(other desktops), the brightness is normal, so I believe this isn't a hardware problem at all.
