Your model can be found in iPad Settings:

If you have a 2010 iPad Air4 or 2018/2020 iPad Pro, your iPad will have a USB-C port. All other models of iPad will have a Lightning Port. If you are attempting to connect your iPad via ethernet instead of WiFi, you will require an appropriate adapter.

Your iPad has a Lightning port, which, when used with an appropriate Lightning to Ethernet adapter, can be directly connected to a wired ethernet network.

The iPad does not have an ethernet port. That cable would plug into the router.
